Omnia CS Ltd will design an Omnicover specific to your sandpit using CAD. This will give you a visual representation of what the cover will look like before manufacture.

Omnicover is made from a lightweight strong panel; a cover 1.22 m x 2.44 m weighs just 17.5 kg. It is not intended to be walked on (as the strength of the sandpit walls are not guaranteed) but will not fail under high loads making the cover itself safe for children. The sandpit cover can be designed to go to the edge of the sandpit walls or sit short; allowing for the panel to sit shorter than the edge could reduce the cost of the cover as stock panels that are odd sizes may be used.

The standard finish of the panel is unpainted or painted white; it can be painted any colour on request (price will vary depending on size of cover and excludes capping and accessories).

The corners have plastic caps which protects injury from sharp corners as well as doubling as feet preventing the aluminium capping from getting scratched when leaning the panel on its side.

An option you may consider is a mushroom vent to allow air to circulate in and out of the pit whilst still keeping animals and debris at bay. The mushroom design will also prevent rain from getting into the sandpit.
