The sandpit is a popular playground attraction that is under threat due to maintenance and contamination
fears. A sandpit cover is essential to keep animals and debris at bay.

Sandpit covers are at the forefront of the Omnicover engineering concept; following an enquiry from a local school that their current cover was heavy, unsightly and rotting away, an Omnicover was designed to replace their existing pit cover that is much easier to handle and looks far better in the playground than the original. All covers are bespoke to customer specification to accommodate all shapes and sizes. We keep the weight of individual covers low enough for comfortable lifting.

Sandpit covers are traditionally made of wood or tarpaulin. Wooden covers are very heavy and tend to rot if not regularly maintained. Tarpaulin covers are quite time consuming to apply as they require securing with elastic cords; they can also collect water if not pulled tight.

The Omnicover can be painted any colour or left bare for a woven fibrous appearance. Vinyls can also be applied to decorate the cover with any design desired to fit in with the sandpits surroundings.
